Delegate Education and Skills Development

This one day course is for elected workplace representatives who have attended one or more previous training exercises.

The aim of the course is to develop delegates understanding of employment related matters including productivity and workplace relationships, to increase their ability to represent union members with workplace and or disciplinary problems/issues and to continue to equip elected delegates with knowledge and skills relevant to the development of improved employment relationships on the sites they service.

Introduction to Legislative Changes and Bargaining Skills for Site Delegates

This one day course aims to:

(i) Introduce Delegates to new legislative developments, rights and benefits

(ii) Build on previous skills development by developing knowledge and skills for use in area of Bargaining

(iii) Develop further understanding on processes and issues in the area of termination of Employment.
